How does this routine work on pimples and comedones?
This routine combines powerful active ingredients that prevent the causes of acne and reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation spots. BHA, better known as salicylic acid, deeply cleanses pores to prevent clogging and associated inflammation. Niacinamide has a dual action: it helps prevent the formation of hyperpigmentation spots, preventing melanin from entering skin cells, but it is also a favorite ingredient for oily skin care because it strengthens the hydrolipidic layer and reduces sebum production. Phytoplankton has a similar effect, which at a dose of only 2%, according to clinically proven studies, reduces sebum production and supports the strengthening of the skin structure. Glycyrrhetinic acid almost combines all of these effects. This innovative ingredient, the most powerful part of licorice root extract, provides as many as four mechanisms of action: two against hyperpigmentation spots and two for sebum control. It reduces and alleviates the inflammation that precedes the appearance of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, but also directly inhibits excessive melanin synthesis. In addition, it reduces lipogenesis, i.e. the process of sebum production, and inhibits the conversion of testosterone into the active form of DHT, which can also cause excessive sebum secretion.
In order to provide gentle yet effective care for acne-prone skin, the L'ADRIA routine is based on preventing inflammation and the causes of acne and soothing the skin in accordance with its natural processes, all without any aggressive ingredients.
Can the products be used independently of each other?
Yes, all products in this routine can be used independently if that suits you.
What are the advantages of mixing serums and creams?
Depending on the time of year, our skin has different lipid needs, so the ratio of cream to serum that we need varies. L'ADRIA serums can be mixed with the HARMONIZING CREAM, which allows the creation of new textures that match the specific and seasonal needs of your skin. The exact amount of product is individual - you can use a smaller amount of cream and a larger amount of serum, depending on the current needs of the skin and the time of year. The possibilities are numerous! The main benefit of mixing powerful serums with a neutral cream is that it allows for the gradual introduction and optimal dosage of potent active ingredients on sensitive skin. Only the SERUM FOR REACTIVE SKIN should not be mixed with creams because it works best on its own.
What if I have sensitive skin?
These products are suitable for sensitive skin.
Is your morning routine an appropriate base for makeup?
Absolutely! The intense moisturizing and smoothing effect of the INSTANT REVITALIZATION SERUM combined with the elegant texture of the HARMONIZING CREAM is an excellent base for makeup.
Are all products safe to use during pregnancy?
All L'ADRIA products, except for the SERUM FOR REACTIVE SKIN and the PURIFYING FACIAL CLEANSING GEL, can be used during pregnancy. THE SERUM FOR REACTIVE SKIN AND THE PURIFYING FACIAL CLEANSING GEL contain salicylic acid, which is not recommended for use during pregnancy.
Can I use SERUM FOR REACTIVE SKIN in the summer?
We recommend that you use a sunscreen all year round. REACTIVE SKIN SERUM contains BHA (salicylic acid), which is said to increase the skin's sensitivity to the sun. However, according to new recommendations (SCCS/1601/18, Final Opinion, Corrigendum of 20-21 June 2019), BHA is not actually a photo-irritant, photosensitizer or photocarcinogen. REACTIVE SKIN SERUM is also very rich in extremolites such as ectoine with proven photoprotective effects. Combined with a product with SPF, which you should always use anyway, REACTIVE SKIN SERUM is a very safe choice for use all year round.
